Hagley Primary School invited us to construct a Memorial Garden in the Playing fields behind the school to remember a member of Staff. This was to be a quite area enjoyed by the Children for education & play.

The concept drawing was taken and drawn to scale by our in-house CAD department and represented back to school for approval. Once approval was granted we started with the Garden area first while the structural element was being built back in our  workshop. The ground was dug out and trenches made. We created the raised beds by using a uniformed mixture of 90mm tanalised round posts and 114mm tanalised half round posts.The paved area was created by using rumbled paving and laid in concentric rings from the originally planted Memorial tree and then finished off around the edges with Cotswold Stone.

The main roof structure used 200mm x 150mm tanalised timbers with a marine ply and Western Red Cedar (locally sourced from Droitwich) pitched roof. Tanalised decking was used for the flooring and tanalised 47mm x 125mm was used with 47mm x 75mm for the balustrade. 

We are currently constructing some curved benches for out side and some straight benches for the children inside, pictures will be posted once completed.
