Workability - Easy to work in general but grain direction or deposits can cause problems, finishes well with filling.

Uses - Internal & external joinery, boat building, vehicle building, furniture, marine uses and flooring.

Look - Grain is either interlocked or irregular, coarse and even texture. Strong yellow in colour when first cut. The wood then on exposure changes to a medium golden brown.
