Workability - Easy to work with except for planing quartered stock, heavier species are harder to work.

Uses - High grade joinery, furniture, panelling, boat building and flooring

Look - Straight interlocked grain, moderately coarse texture. Light pinkish brown to deep reddish brown in colour.
