At Simeon Bateman we believe that looking after our customers is top priority. We are a family business with over a 220 year history. We have 10 members of staff with a joint experience of over 150 years in timber.

The business is owned by Philip and Brigitte Edmonds who are husband and wife and have now taken the business over from Ken Hughes, Brigitte's father.  Phil has over 20 years experience in Facilities Management and the building trade and Brigitte in finance and law. 

We have a large client base ranging from builders and furniture manufacturers to DIY and schools.  Our policy is consistency across all elements of our business.  We ensure consistent customer service, product quality and pricing. We have many satisfied loyal customers whom we have been serving for many years knowing that we will always endeavour to meet the their needs. Our reputation is based on the fact that we only source and stock high quality materials ie. C24 grade treated and un-treated structural timber, high quality hardwoods, planed softwoods and a large range of sheet material. We also have an in-house hardware shop which stocks a wide range of products to compliment all aspects of the trade. We also offer a delivery service which includes local and national deliveries.
